The mission of the M & M Area Community Foundation is to receive and administer funds and property in the form of permanent endowments from a wide range of donors for educational, environmental, cultural, recreational and charitable purposes in a manner that promotes the spirit of philanthropy and meets the needs of the people of Menominee County, Michigan, and Marinette County, Wisconsin.

As a public charity and non-profit Michigan corporation, the role of the M & M Area Community Foundation is to accumulate endowment funds which grow and earn income. In this way, it builds the resources to meet a wide range of community needs. The Foundation continues to expand its circle of friends and supporters to construct a substantial community "savings/investment " account which offers donors of every means an opportunity to give something back to the Marinette and Menominee county area in the form of worthwhile programs and projects.
