RECORD CROWD FOR M&M AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TAILGATE FUNDRAISER
Former Packer LeRoy Butler wowed a record crowd for the 17th annual M&M Area Community Foundation Tailgate Fundraiser. The event, held on August 28th at Pullman House, was attended by over 300 people in support of the MMACF’s mission for charitable giving in Menominee and Marinette counties.
“LeRoy was an excellent guest speaker and really connected with those in attendance,” said Lisa Fernstrum, incoming MMACF Board President. “He deserves to be commended for the extra time and attention he gave to guests in support of their contributions. The crowd was overwhelmed when he autographed an additional football for our live auction,” she noted.
Among the many items donated by community members and businesses for auction, several were attention grabbers: a week’s stay on Sanibel Island, Packer tickets (four club seats), and several sports, fitness, and food and refreshment packages.
“As always, Bill Michaels was a great Master of Ceremony,” noted Paula Gruszynski, MMACF Executive Director. “Together with auctioneer Jan Scoville, Bill led us to a new fundraising record for this event. And…none of this would have been possible without months of hard work from our team of volunteers, led by Tailgate Chair, Barb Peterson,” Gruszynski concluded.
The MMACF extends special thanks to the following for their support: the MMACF Youth Advisory Committee, Tailgate Marketing chair Laura Rowe, For Love or Money competition chair Daela Reiswitz and Frozen Tundra chairs Kathy and John Willmann.

Your portrait entry, digital or video image must be emailed to email@example.com by October 2, 2015. You must include in the email the title, size, medium, your name and date along with the image of your entry.
All entries will be posted on October 9, 2015. Voting begins online on Facebook Witch? Award Page. October 9th, 2015. The image/video is voted by “liking” the image/video. The entry that receives the most like’s/votes by October 31, 2015 at 12 noon, will win $1,000.
