2014 Grant Cycles

Youth Advisory Committee
The Y.A.C. has been an integral part of the M&M Area Community Foundation from Day 1! In 2013, they granted over $11,000 to 9 organizations with projects and programs impacting area young people. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 2nd. Grants will be awarded in June.

Community Wide
The Community Wide Grant Cycle of the M&M Area Community Foundation reaches a wide cross-section of organizations in our area, and looks to fund programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for all people in Marinette & Menominee Counties. Applications are due Friday, June 6th. Grants will be awarded in August.

Health
Organizations with Health and Human Services based programs and projects in our community are encouraged to submit grant applications to our Health Cycle. Applications for are due Friday, June 6th. Grants will be awarded in August.

AODA
Did you know that in 2013, our Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) Grant Cycle awarded $30,390 to 7 different organizations?  Funded programs ranged from youth education and awareness to upgrades in law enforcement equipment to resources for area treatment providers. The 2014 AODA Cycle will open soon and award grants in summer / fall of 2014.

Women’s Giving Circle
The Women’s Giving Circle was established in 2008 as an affiliate of the M&M Area Community Foundation with the help of an anonymous donation. Since then, it has grown its mission to support local projects that are important to women and girls. The Circle is inclusive, and currently lists over 120 members. The 2014 Women’s Giving Circle Grant Cycle has not yet been determined.

Peshtigo Area Foundation
On April 13th, 2014, the Peshtigo Area Foundation Awarded $1,700 to 4 different organizations with programs and projects that add quality to lives of the people of Peshtigo.

$500 was granted to The Peshtigo Chamber of Commerce for the Memories With Movies project.
$500 was granted to The Peshtigo City Police Department for an AED Defibrillator Upgrade.
$500 was granted to the Town of Peshtigo Fire Department for a Defibrillator Purchase.
$200 was granted to Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services for Domestic Abuse Awareness.

Witch AwardInvites you to vote for your favorite portrait by artists from Marinette County, Wisconsin and Menominee County, Michigan. The artist that receives the most votes (likes) will win $1,100. Voting will begin online on the Facebook Witch? Award page on May 16, 2014. The entry that receives the most likes/votes by August 22, 2014 at 7pm will win. If you would like to donate to the Witch?
